I have loved white Christmas trees for years. Yes, the artificial kind with white lights.
In November I saw a small one at Wal Mart for only $39.00 and I had to go buy it. It is a little shorter than my green tree so I felt like I needed to place it on something for height.
An old steamer trunk was perfect for the tree...
But there was about an 18 inch space between the trunk and the lowest branches of the tree.
Grandmas are just antique little girls so what should go under my tree?
Why dolls of course!
"Old raggedy dolls-
torn and tattered
you were my friends
when it really mattered"
What a perfect spot for Raggedy Ann...
and Raggedy Andy.
My little white tree covered with many vintage ornaments is bringing me lots of JOY this season!
What is your favorite kind of Christmas tree?
How do you decorate yours?

I love your white tree! I have one in the garage that we used in my daughter's room for years, but she's lost interest in having a tree in her room. So, I've been planning to use it elsewhere in the house.
Thanks for the inspiration.

This is the first year I'm having a yearning for a white tree. Yours is the perfect size! I have lots of vintage ornaments and would love the look you have achieved.
Your white tree is so pretty! Love the Annies under it!
I have for years decorated a green tree with white and silver...I probably should change, but I like it!
It is just beautiful and I love it atop the steamer trunk!
I like the idea of a smaller tree up on something. Right now though I still use my giant tree but I don't put the back branches on it.
I am then able to push it right back flat against the wall and honestly no one would ever know there are no branches on the back side. Fools the eye for sure and gives me lots more room in the room.
Your white tree is adorable. I've been considering buying a white tree for next year. Adore your Raggedy dolls -- wonderful collection!
